San Giovanni in Fiore, 1 October 2003

--Furthermore of the collective imaginary world, the Mediterranean is covered each day by rivers of migrants: in my hometown San Giovanni in Fiore, after the Christmas holidays at least other one hundred persons have emigrated; emigrated in other regions, here in Italy and abroad, in the Mediterranean basin and in other continents. Young and not so young people, intellectuals and not. I had to migrate for being listened by someone, for being able to express the possibilities of the project emigrati.it, written up and realized in total nonchalance of press and institutions in San Giovanni in Fiore, insurmountable example of migration and failed policy of the territory.

Florenses Escatology

...they left again from Petra and were withdrawn between the mounts
in Fiore, so that in Nazareth the new fruit of the Saint Spirit would be announced, until, beginning from that place, the Lord operate the maximum salvation on earth.

--San Giovanni in Fiore, January 2002

--[...] the migrations of entire populations, from whichever geographic place of the Earth to other places, the advent in the last decade of Internet, the tendency to the Euro-Mediterranean enlarging of Europe, the infinity of cultural interlaces, in synthesis the age of intercultural and global communication, push me more and more towards the search of my roots, from Calabria’s to the Mediterranean, to the common roots of every man...

Caccuri, Sunday 25 January 2004

--"We are all a little ‘under construction’" wrote me some time ago the Florense poetess of West Virginia Rina FERRARELLI.
--After a little more than three months online, with one thousands of visitor of all the world, florense.it change aspect and contents.
--A site of passage and reflection waiting the one dynamic, already in building, in asp with connections to databases, which will become also a shop online of my graphic works and my photos.

www.jaflos.it computer science & information systems

--The old site was already realized in 2001, even if it’s placed on the web the 15 November 2003 and was centralised on a general picture of my artistic production: from the rendering in 3D realized with CAD software (Computer Aided design) to explore my Mediterranean dream science fiction worlds (the cities of Gojia©2002), to the songs for Acquaraggia; from geographical and architectonic photos to the production such as designer, to CAD for architecture. In the meantime, after many events in my life and in my work makes the site unsuitable to my current state of being.
--Waiting for the dynamic site I present a site that is more political and turned towards social interests and lesser to a narcissistic vision of my art production.

--Also this web site is like a short summary of an extensive production in more fields of the art expression, some still cultivated day for day, and other left, at least in this moment. Fluctuations due to the time, to the growth, to the search of a more personal expression; due to new priorities that interposes, changes of habits, selection of the activities to which dedicate his own time.

A summary in a bottle that sails on the sea of Internet...www.florense.it
